RED

Technical Data:

Vintage: 2000.

Type: Red Wine.

Alcoholic Content: 12,5% Vol.

Grape Variety: Malbec, Bonarda.

Sugar Content: 2 gr./litre.

Production Method: This wine was produced starting from a selection of black grapes from our own vineyards in the low foothills of the Andes in the Cruz de Piedra region (Mendoza). The must has been fermented with the grape skins at a controlled temperature (never higher than 27ºC). During the fermentation process the wine undergoes numerous remontages to favour the extraction of varietal aromas, tannins and colour. Following prolonged fermentation, the wine is stabilised and undergoes a filtering process before being bottled.

Tasting Notes: A deep ruby red in colour with purplish hues, this wine is characterised by its aroma of red fruit, blackberries, cherries, redcurrant and blackcurrant. A spicy finish.

Service Temperature: 15 - 17ºC.

Gastronomy: Superb to accompany and bring out the special characteristics of the tasty stews and and roast of traditional Argertinean cuisine.
